2. New Young Adult Website.   A new resource from the Diocese that keeps young adults current on the latest happenings around the valley.   Huge thanks to Mike Campbell at St. Andrew’s who put the site together.  Now online!!!                            

3. Gearing Up for Fall Kick-Off:  Please join Bishop Olmsted on August 18th from 10:00-12:00 for a wonderful morning of fellowship and formation on “Catechesis-Teaching the Catholic Worldview to an Ailing World” Event details online.                                                                                                      

4. Core Member University is coming up on August 21st at St. Patrick's in Scottsdale.  Cost is $65, but after August 11th, it will increase to $75.  The registration for the Youth Minister is free.  Hope you can all make it out for a great day of prayer and training for your Core.   Details Online

The Pope’s intentions for August are:

                
General: The Unemployed and the Homeless:  That those who are without work or homes or who are otherwise in serious need may find understanding and welcome, as well as concrete help in overcoming their difficulties.

Missionary: Victims of Discrimination, Hunger and Forced Emigration: That the Church may be a “home” for all people, ready to open its doors to any who are suffering from racial or religious discrimination, hunger, or wars forcing them to emigrate to other countries.
